Shane Connolly: Flowers for a Coronation

Join Royal Florist Shane Connolly for a closer look into the floral arrangements for His Majesty The King’s Coronation in May 2023.

This May renowned floral designer and ambassador for sustainable floristry Shane Connolly was commissioned to design the flowers for The Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen in Westminster Abbey, having previously designed the flowers for their wedding at Windsor Castle in 2005, and the wedding of The Prince and Princess of Wales in 2011.

Shane goes beyond the blooms and shares his thoughts on seamlessly creating sustainable flower designs fit for a King. He worked closely with Flowers from the Farm and The RHS to source seasonal flowers and foliage from every corner of the UK; a natural gift for a nature-loving King and Queen.

Shane’s clients range from great public institutions like The V&A; the RA and the National Portrait Gallery, to a veritable who’s who of the great and the good of British life.
