Building Bugs

Join us for a family workshop and create a 3D insect.

Take inspiration from the creatures found in What to Look For in the Garden: A Ladybird Books Exhibition to create your own creepy crawly. Families will work with artist Bethan Durie and experiment with new techniques such as weaving and threading to construct their bug using natural and upcycled materials.

Bethan Durie is an artist educator; after completing an MA at the Royal College of Art, she went on to work in the learning departments of the Victoria & Albert Museum and National Gallery designing and leading creative workshops. Her specialisms include design, contemporary illustration, and printmaking.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
