Ever been curious about the history of the church in which the Garden Museum was housed?
Christopher W, D of the Gm and an architectural historian, will walk us through nine centuries of the history of the church, churchyard ad neighbourhood. St Mary’s Lambeth was founded in 1054, before the Norman Conquest; it closed as a church in 1972, when it was rescued in memory of John Tradescant, who was buried in the garden in 1638.
