As a Museum based in a large city, one of the aims of the learning programme to connect people with nature, and to acknowledge and celebrate the changing seasons.
We have created an online learning resource that focuses on a seasonal ingredient each month, and links this together with items in the Museum’s Collection and Archive along with information and activities around food, science, art and horticulture.
Have a browse and you may find yourself taking part in activities as diverse as extracting DNA from a strawberry, making a botanical citrus collage or baking a plum crumble.
