Garden Museum Journal no.39 | Russell Page in America

£10.00

This journal celebrates Russell Page’s extensive work in the USA, where for a considerable period, he was one of the most sought-after garden designers with an impressive and stylish client list. Page only started working in the States on a regular basis in the 1960s, after the publication of The Education of a Gardener. Together with reproductions of plans and notes from the archive, Dr. Lucy Inglis’ research sheds light on this later work, including some of Page’s most exciting projects.

We are hugely grateful to: Page’s nephew, Nigel Corbally Stourton, for kindly writing the Foreword; Marina Schinz, who generously provided her photographs of the gardens, and the Geraldine Stutz Trust, as without their funding this journal would not have been possible.
